I offer lessons to drummers of all ages and abilities. In addition to drumset, I also teach Scottish-style rudimental snare drumming to those interested in playing with a bagpipe band.
My rates are: $25 per ½ hr lesson
$45 per 1 hr lesson
Rather than impose the same system of instruction on each student, I prefer to follow general principles while being flexible to each individual's needs and goals. With younger players, I promote the foundations of good technique while keeping drumming interesting and fun. More mature students are encouraged to explore their own sound while focusing on the importance of groove and musicianship.
